5 Days to Go! Week Three Perks

Hello!
We are so close to the finish line, and I still have more goodies to give you all as we come to the end. Thank you for making all the extras possible by backing this project.
We hit the 215 backers goal so you will all receive Nightfall by Joel Rodriguez.
We also hit our 9K stretch goal so all backers at the physical tier will now receive a La Llorona bookplate (3.5"x4"/unsigned). All digital backers will receive a digital one. When we hit 10K or 250 backers, we will unlock the Week Three Perks, and all backers will receive three more digital comics.
There is a very cool comic series live on Kickstarter right now. If you are into Mary Shelley's School for Monsters, the chances are high you will also be into Unicorn: Vampire Hunter.
It's a fantasy comic book series about a unicorn who hunts vampires (with his horn, duh).

We also unlocked the Week Two Digital Comics for all backers who join the school by June 12th (today). That's all of you! You will now receive the below comics as part of your rewards.
This also means that we hit our 8K stretch goal. Each backer will receive a digital copy of my script along with some process art. I love to get a glimpse into the nuts and bolts of creating a comic so I am thrilled to be able to share this with you.
Our next stretch goal is 9K. When we hit that, all backers will get the La Llorona bookplate/nameplate sticker. This one will be unsigned so you can put your name on it and put it in your book or whereever you want. All digital backers will receive a digital version of it. When we hit it, I will release new stretch goals!

Finally, I discovered a cool graphic novel that I backed because I know my daughter will go bananas for it. She's a huge fan of Dogman and Captain Underpants. If you or someone in your life is into that style of story telling, check out this project.

Youth Comic Workshops - You all are making the magic happen

Happy Saturday!
We hit our 7K stretch goal which means every backer will receive a copy of the digital short comic, Forever Home, by Anna Wieszczyk and Jessica Maison. I love this short. It's the first time Anna and I told a story together. It's about a Hastur cult that has kidnapped Necro to help them force monsters to fight each other for entertainment. Shel and Frank will not tolerate this kind of evil. This short first appeared in the Cthulhu is Hard to Spell: Battle Royale anthology published by Wannabe Press.
When I can, I go to schools and libraries and do comic making and writing workshops with young people from 4th to 12th grade. Since May, I've worked with over 300 students. These workshops were all provided for free for public schools. We were also able to give each one of these students a copy of the Battle Royale hardcover anthology thanks to the generosity of Russell Nohelty.
I can't even begin to tell you how great these workshops have been. Just so much appreciation for Russell and his support for the work I was doing with these young people. The workshops are great on their own but when a kid gets to take a book home, the joy and engagement is next level. If you are interested in that anthology, you can add a copy to your pledge. It lives in the Add-On section and can be included in your rewards. I'm specifically talking about this anthology because of the stretch goal but also because of my youth writing workshops.
In future workshops, I will give out copies of Origins and La Llorona in the Machine but I need help on that front. That's why I offer several tiers that allow backers to be part of that work. Backers can get a book, give a book at the $60 level or just give three books for $75. There is also an add-on that allows backers to donate one book in addition to their pledge.
By being backers at any level, you are already supporting my efforts to provide these workshops. Thank you so much for already being a part of that magic.

EXQUISITE CORPSE FACTORY: A Clockwork Knight Adventure
An XL fold-out comic experience. Someone has been digging up monster corpses for an evil scheme that only The Clockwork Knight can stop. It is a stand alone comic book featuring Quick The Clockwork Knight. It starts as a 7” x 5” mini comic that you unfold as you read. As the story progresses, the comic gets larger and larger until it becomes an oversized 19” x 13” comic book experience at the climax of the story.

There are only 30 at this price. So, if you didn't get the pin and want it or you want another one, now is the time. The promotion will end on June 9th at 6pm PST or when the pins run out. This is the only time the pin will be offered at $10, and it is only being offered to backers at this price.
We are inching toward 8K, and Mark just dropped off the first day backer buttons and the 6K stretch goal hologram stickers, so we are set to mail those out when we mail out the books! They came out so cool!
Finally, I want to spotlight a truly original project by a talented creator. This book is not all ages and is very different from my own project. However, I love all kinds of stories and genres as alot of you do. I know that many of you will really dig Richard's new book.
Richard Fairgray first captured my attention with his memoir comic Octopus. It was a well-drawn, honest, messy, and poignant look at heartbreak and transformation, both sad and funny. It was really moving and showcased his talent as a storyteller and artist. He has a new project on Kickstarter right now that I'm equally excited about called Haunted Hill. Please take some time to check out this cool book that will take you on a bumpy ride through Eva's exhausting and exhilarating night navigating the grime of Hollywood. There may also be aliens and ghosts.

Hi all,
It's officially week two of our three week campaign. Our Week 2 perks are here. All backers who have backed by June 12 will receive three additional comics from the amazing creators - Karla Nappi, Rylend Grant, and Timothy Fling when we hit 8K.
We hit our 6K stretch goal! All backers at the physical tier levels will get a School Crest Hologram sticker. All digital backers will get a digital version of it. We are moving quickly toward the 7K stretch goal where all backers will receive a pdf of the La Llorona in the Machine script with selected process art included.
