Hello La Llorona in the Machine backers,
I'm popping in today to share the mixtape - Medusa's Monster Jams - made to celebrate the successful Origins #1 campaign in case you missed it it the first time around. I was listening to it in the car this morning getting amped up for Spooky Season, and realized all over again how much I love this mix. I really hope you enjoy it!
Also, we have a current Kickstarter campaign running for the next Origins comic. It's going pretty great, and I want to make sure you see it. I'd love to have you check it out if you haven't had the chance yet.

I'm popping in to chat with all my La Llorona in the Machine backers so I can let you know about two things.
One, we are live with the Mary Shelley's School for Monsters: Origins #2. This is the next chapter in the Mary Shelley's School for Monsters series, and the Early Bird Deal ends today! I didn't want any of you to miss it if you wanted in. There are also some great first week bonuses. Please go check them out if you haven't.
Two, and the real reason I'm here, is to let you know the hardcover that you helped bring to life last summer has been named a finalist for Foreword INDIES Book of the Year in the graphic novel category. This couldn't have happened without all of you. So, thank you so much!

LA Comic Con and Nightmare Theater Anthology

Hello,
I wanted to pop in to let you all know that I will be at Los Angeles Comic Con this weekend (December 1-3rd).
I will be tabling with my friend and fellow writer, Matt Harry in Artist Alley at F54. We are listed under his company, Codex Arcanum. Look for my School for Monster's sign! Mention CAMP SCARE for a special freebie.

Artist Mark Mactal (Pistil) will also be at LA Comic Con with us on Friday, December 1st to chat and and sign comics.
Mactal and I have a short horror comic in the Nightmare Theater Anthology published by Bloodline Comics that has a little over two days left on Kickstarter. It has over 350 backers and has almost hit 20K. Mark and I did a Black Mirror-esque story about a young celebrity who gets way too close to the A.I. protecting her home. The campaign earned the Kickstarter Project We Love badge and is well into its stretch goals. You can still get in on the terror and join the campaign.
